Junior Carpenters Workshops
In November the Rockridge Friends funded 4-week Junior Carpenters workshop at the Oakland Main Library. On each of the 4 Mondays of the workshop, children were able to learn about tools, their use, and tool safety. They could then apply their new skills to building a project, like this hanging planter box, that they could take home with them. In March the Junior Carpenters Workshop is coming to the Rockridge branch!
