The 90-Second Newberys are almost here!

Filmmakers in the under 20 set are getting excited in Oakland. I can feel it! Well, maybe I just have a feeling they are, because every year the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival event comes to town, it garners more attendees, more creativity, and more fun at the Rockridge Library!

This fun-filled (often popcorn-packed) event melds literature with film making, while adding a bit of fun in the form of a 90-second time limit. Kids rule the day, spotlighting their skills and interest, while the host keeps everyone giggling and focused on the big screen.
