Two (count 'em!) articles in the Rockridge News
April was a heady month for library-related news, and yes, we admit our ears were burning when the Rockridge News hit the neighborhood!
First, we wrote an article touting a recent program at the library, a film screening of kid-directed films re-telling in 60 seconds an award-winning book. You wouldn't believe the creativity and talent these kids possess!
Then, as if one article about the library weren't enough, Don Kinkead over at the RockRidge News wrote a glowing piece about the newish Library Manager, our friend Paul Scheisser. Paul has been busy improving the library and reenergizing the staff. We're so pleased to have him at the library!
And don't forget: the library will be closing soon for renovations. The official word and details can be found on the Oakland Public Library web site.
